Writing about social media is not usually in my bag of tricks because admitedly I’m fairly awful at social media.
It took me three failed attempts to figure out Twitter (I now have a handle on it, thank you!).
And the Story Envelope Facebook Page is currently pretty hilarious...and by which I mean I could practically count my subscribers on two hands and two feet. That will change, you wait!
HOWEVER...despite my ineptitudes...
I do know a thing or two about online video. So, I’d like to share with you my forty-two cents about why you should start adding Facebook Video to your marketing agenda, if you have the time and interest of course.
Don't make this another 12 lbs on your to-do list! But if it's something you've been toying with already, here's your motivation.
While this is most applicable if you already have a great Facebook community and it helps too if video is something you're already doing, even in a microcosmic way, you will still get results if you have practically no followers - such is the power of Facebook's 2015 algorithm.
And before you start planning your next trip to Future Shop, let it be known that iPhone videos are perfect for Facebook (in case you were wondering) since Facebook doesn't stream video at a super high resolution. You definitely don't need to whip out a $1000 camera to be effective with video on Facebook.
